These are the tools that do the daily mechanics of running a brand on social media. People start looking for this when the current setup has quietly stopped working. Analytics tools vary in whether they pull data through official platform APIs, which is accurate but limits historical depth and what can be measured, or through other methods that go deeper but are less reliable. Monitoring tools differ in how wide their source coverage is — social only, or also news, forums and review sites — and how good the sentiment analysis is outside English. Influencer platforms differ in whether they're a marketplace of vetted creators you can hire into, or software layered on relationships you already manage yourself, and how seriously they check for fake followers. When comparing options, weigh channel coverage against your actual channel mix, check whether approval workflows match how your team signs off content, and look at whether pricing scales by seats, by posts, or by the size of your audience, since that decides what it costs you a year from now, not just this month.
