Engagement models vary too: a fixed-scope project to design and launch a site, a monthly retainer to manage ongoing campaigns, or a performance arrangement tied to leads or bookings, which shifts risk onto the provider but usually costs more per result. Worth comparing directly: whether they've worked in your industry, whether their team size matches the pace you need, how they report progress and what they consider a result, and whether you're buying a dedicated team or getting time-shared across several client accounts.
