Founded 1998: newzapp's managing director decided to bring his web solutions ideas to life whilst a student at the university of plymouth. Fast forward newzapp is trusted by russell group universities, local, district and central government, nhs and network rail.
Some may remember the wannacry virus which struck the nhs and other organisations worldwide. This event caused nhs digital to make their data policies more stringent, flagging and even preventing emails from arriving in nhs inboxes. While this helps prevent any such attack from happening again, it has also made emailing internally and externally painful. Thus newzapp trusted delivery was born and within 3 months of launching the product, we had helped communicators reach nearly 50,000 nhs employees.
