Kuhana associates llc (kuhana) has provided information technology (IT) services from IT's inception in 1998. Kuhana has provided IT services to various sectors including government healthcare services (state of Hawaii - department of health).in 2005, however, kuhana sought to expand its services into the department of defense (dod) government sector. Strategically, kuhana decided to create a team of individuals with wide-ranging expertise and experience. The varying expertise and knowledge allowed kuhana to explore the potential business opportunities in areas other than information technology to the ultimate benefit of the nho's purpose of serving native hawaiians.after researching various industries, kuhana determined that IT has the capacity to seek opportunities for success in the healthcare resource provider industry. Since making the decision, kuhana has established a working relationship with an sba approved mentor.kuhana is now well positioned to effectively manage programs to recruit and place needed direct care and support medical staff in military treatment facilities through the knowledge and experience of its senior management.
