While corey was working with local organizations on their business development strategy, he began to recognize something curious: consumers were great at shutting out interruptive marketing and sales techniques. The methods of old (snail mail, e-mail blasts, cold calls) simply were not as effective as they were in the past.
Born out of frustration
After working with many large corporations that merely use their CRM systems for client records and cya, we knew there had to be something better. We asked everybody we knew (companies small & large) what system they were using. Surprisingly not everyone used a CRM system. Some had no idea what we were even talking about (especially 1-10 employee range). The most popular customer relationship manager was their outlook inbox.
