Escenic was founded in 1999. In 2013, the company was bought by cci Europe, which it has now merged with under the new company brand, stibo dx.

The name change to stibo dx highlights our relation to the stibo group, a foundation-owned corporate group, founded in 1794 and headquartered in aarhus, denmark.
